reForming Relationships Art Tour

The reForming relationships art tour, undertaken by the Christian Reformed Church, seeks to build and rebuild relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. This project provides opportunities for non-Indigenous people to learn about Indigenous history, culture, the historical relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada, and the current lived experience of Indigenous peoples in Canada. The project intends to make space for Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to meet and engage in constructive dialogue, building relationships and understanding.

The project consists of a series of community-based tour stops, and began in October 2011 in Saskatoon and has been traveling to locations across Canada. The art tour is part of the Christian Reformed Church’s Aboriginal Ministry in Canada.
