Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office Spring Intergenerational Seminar on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

This seminar, which took place from April 3rd-6th 2014 focused on the Rights of Indigenous People, with the theme being “Sacred Roots: Indigenous Rights, Resistance and Reclamation”. The event brought together 200 Unitarian Universalists of all ages from across Canada and the United States to learn more about the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and their role in supporting these rights. Speakers at the event included Canadian Aboriginal architect Douglas Cardinal, Rev. Peter Morales, President of the Unitarian Universalist Association, and Vyda Ng, Executive Director of the Canadian Unitarian Council.
