Lunchtime Series: Open Conversations in the Spirit of Reconciliation – Edmonton

The University of Alberta Museums in partnership with University of Alberta’s Faculty of Extension, the Life Skills Journey Program, and the Aboriginal Community-Industry Relations Program hosted a winter 2016 lunchtime series focused on strength-based discussions about the impact of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s recommendations on universities and communities. “Open Conversations in the Spirit of Reconciliation” was intended to take a multi-disciplinary approach, inviting speakers from various realms including anthropology, visual arts, political science, native studies, health, and more.
