Alaska Native Knowledge Network

This is a fantastic resource for teachers and people interested in delivering educational activities about Indigenous knowledge. It is also a fascinating compendium of information about the history of colonial systems, traditional knowledge of the environment, Indigenous legal, diplomatic and governance systems, traditional spirituality, traditional values and many other Indigenous related subjects. Although its focus is Alaskan native knowledge and history, there are many resources drawn from or inspired by Canadian Indigenous cultures across the country. Encyclopedic in scope, this website is useful to anyone interested in discovering more about the distinct and diverse Indigenous cultures of North America.
